|Children's Sculpture on show in Singapore
Between June 6th and 28th the Childrens Sculpture Exhibition 2009 will take place, showcasing the artist creations that children produced during the annual Singapore Sculpture Carnival.
Judges of the festival selected the best work created by the thousands of attending children, which will be showcased at this unique event, held in Sculpture Square.
Event organisers say: "Together, the two events make up one of Singapore's most successful annual children's visual arts project, touching the lives of over 40,000 children since its inception in 1999."
As well as art work selected by judges, children can also submit their creations to event organisers independently.
On Saturday June 6th and 14:00 local time, there will be an exhibition opening reception, giving budding artists and their families a chance to mingle.
