|Oasis to play Madison Square Gardens
One of their highly-anticipated performances is due to take place in New York City, with the band set to perform at Madison Square Gardens on December 17th.
The group, fronted by Liam Gallagher and primarily driven by the creative talents of his older brother Noel, formed over 15 years ago.
Since their inception in 1991, the band have released a string of hits, with each of their seven studio albums reaching the top of the charts in their native UK.
Oasis' latest album, Dig Out Your Soul, features the single Shock of the Lightening; a hit sure to be belted out at their NYC gig.
Tickets for the show are priced from $39.50 to $79.50 and the show is due to start at 7.30pm.
Popular alt-country act Ryan Adams and The Cardinals will be performing in support.
