|NYC gets ready for Neil Young
The renowned singer-songwriter will play two nights at Madison Square Garden on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th December.
The 68-year-old has been gigging as both a solo artist and as part of a band for over three decades.
He first toured as a solo artist in his native Canada in 1965 before becoming part of Buffalo Springfield around two years later.
Affectionately known as Shakey, Young has had a prolific solo career and produced many successful albums, notably Harvest, After the Gold Rush and more recently the acclaimed record Prairie Wind.
He also performed as part of the popular quartet Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.
Young will be supported by two bands at the NYC gigs, Everest and Wilco, with the shows starting at 8pm.
Tickets for the concerts vary in price from $54.50 to $254.50 depending on where attendees wish to sit.
