Alternative rock band Flogging Molly will be rolling into New York next spring to perform a gig in the vibrant city.

The band are due to go on stage at the Hammerstein Ballroom on Sunday, February 15th at 7.30pm.

Originally from Los Angeles, Flogging Molly formed in 1997 and have since released a number of hit albums.

The seven-piece band are fronted by vocalist Dave King, who previously sang for heavy metal band Fastway.

With a blend of Irish and American influences the group has an unusual sound that has earned them an army of loyal fans.

Notable songs include The Worst Day Since Yesterday, which featured on the soundtrack for the hit film Mr and Mrs Smith, as well as If I Ever Leave This World Alive and Selfish Man.
