Millennium & Copthorne Hotels (M&C) marks its first steps into Japan, with its collaboration with hotel group, Mitsui Garden Hotels, which is owned by Japan’s largest property developer Mitsui Fudosan.
The online collaboration which goes live in February, features information about each corporation’s hotels, their locations, and a bit about the regions they are situated in. Both groups will also publish their hotel information in their respective Worldwide Directories.
Under the collaboration, Mitsui will host information about M&C’s extensive network of over 120 hotels worldwide. Likewise, M&C’s corporate site will carry information about Mitsui’s network of 14 Mitsui Garden Hotels. With more than 3,800 rooms in Japan, Mitsui has become a brand which has become synonymous with style in Japan.

Mitsui Fudosan Hotel Management was founded in 1981 and opened its first hotel in Yodoyabashi,
Osaka, in 1984. Extending their footprints, MG have since expanded nationwide under the brand name “
Mitsui Garden Hotels, operates 14 hotels (including one under contract) with a total capacity of
3,874 rooms. Expansion growth plans are on track and MG will be opening new hotels in Yotsuya,
Tokyo, and in Sendai in the northeast of Japan in 2009 towards the goal of achieving a capacity of
