David Garrett, the record-breaking German pop, crossover violinist and recording artist, will make an appearance at the TUI Arena on October, 18th with his new crossover programme.
After a successful international tour, David Garrett is coming to Hannover to present his new album, which features his skills as a crossover artist between rock and pop and his classical Stradivarius violin.
Garrett has booked successes in Europe, Asia and America and has debuted last year, acting in the film "The Devil's Violinist", playing the famous Paganini.
Garrett enrolled at the Royal College of Music in London but agreed to leave after the first semester, having broken into the college’s premises to do extra practice.
Soon after, he moved to New York to attend the Juilliard School, where he won the 2003 Composition Competition with a fugue composed in the style of Johann Sebastian Bach.
At 13, he was offered the use of the famous Stradivarius "San Lorenzo", which is among the best instruments of Stradivarius’ golden period.
