An art gallery in the vibrant city of Shanghai, China, the Shanghai Art Museum is situated in
Shanghai Race Club’s former clubhouse building. Standing adjacent to People’s Square, the
museum is the home of the famous Shanghai biennial. A standout among the things to see in Shanghai,
the landmark comprises twelve exhibition halls on five floors showcasing fine traditional and
modern art.
The museum which lets visitors take part in painting and sketching lessons as well as art
lectures organizes art shows on a regular basis. The first floor of the building houses a gift shop
