The Shanghai International Business Aviation Show 2011 or SIBAS intends to be China’s premier annual event for professionals involved or interested in worldwide business aviation. Scheduled to be conducted at the Business Aviation Centre of the Shanghai International Hongqiao Airport, this major event will naturally attract everyone with an interest in civil aviation. Hosted by the Shanghai Society of Aeronautics, the Shanghai Association for Science & Technology and the World Events Agency the event will be conducted as a part of the Shanghai Air Show.

During the extent of the three day long exhibition, the Shanghai International Business Aviation Show will unite prospective buyers such as corporate leaders, elite businesspeople and other affluent top bracket individuals with various members of the aviation industry including manufacturers, pilots, suppliers, government officials and airline companies. Going beyond the scope of a mere exhibition, SIBAS presents an ideal opportunity to conduct business, initiate valuable relationships and conclude deals with representatives of the Chinese business aviation industry.

Several affiliated events will also be organized including the SIBAS Gala Dinner for strategic level management, top aviation authority officials and elite business leaders and exhibitors. Top level participants will also enjoy the Network @ SIBAS event and the specially organized ‘Philanthropist and Buyers Golf Tournament’.

With China’s ever increasing numbers of the wealthy and super-rich, there is a huge potential in the private aircraft market for manufacturers and dealers in the industry. The nation’s market for private aircraft is projected to increase by 20-25% each year in the next decade and the number of private aircraft is set to surpass the number in the United States in this time period.
