News|Shared check-in facility introduced in BeijingThe global airline alliance has introduced a new shared check-in system which can be used by all people taking flights from the airport's Terminal 2. Members of the group include Air France, China Eastern, Korean Air and Vietnam Airlines, with 50 check-in desks and ten self-services facilities now all on offer for travellers. "The co-location of SkyTeam carriers worldwide is an integral part of our strategy as it offers tangible benefits to both our customers and our members," said Gordon Humpherys, SkyTeam's vice-president of airport services. Other travellers planning to take flights to Tokyo from the airport could be among the first to take a trip on the new Dreamliner aircraft which are to be operated between the two cities by Japan Airlines.
