The Sharjah Water Festival is an annual spectacular celebration comprised of various
family-oriented events.
It is entertaining, fun-filled, thrilling, and above all inspiring. Conceptualized by the
Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority
(SCTDA), the Sharjah Water Festival had a groundbreaking debut with the “First Wave” enjoying tremendous success in 2006. The Festival aims to promote the Emirate’s culture and history and establish its position as a
premier family tourist destination through an informative yet fun and trendy setting.
