Thousands of watersport enthusiasts are expected to jet in to Abu Dhabi hotels for the city’s legs of the forthcoming UAE International Jet Ski championships.

Hosted jointly between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the tournament has grown into one of the top events on the sport’s calendar and is expected to attract throngs of visitors. Three of the tournament's legs will be held in Abu Dhabi with the first taking place on January 27th.

This leg will take place in the afternoon, roughly from 3pm until 5pm, around the shores of the city’s breakwater. The competition is split into different classes and categories so that each section is always as competitive as possible.

Involved in the competition will be some of the top racers from all over the world with visitors allowed to get very close to the water’s edge and be within touching distance of some of the elite athletes within the jet ski world.
