Abu Dhabi hotels should be expecting to welcome a deluge of food connoisseurs during February due to the imminent arrival of Gourmet Abu Dhabi which will be held on the eighth of the month for 15 days.

The event, the fourth of its kind to be held in the city, will see a wide array of world class chefs showcasing their culinary talents and according to the website is intended for food-lovers who appreciate a "culinary masterpiece".

Coming courtesy of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, the event will include prestigious chefs such as Hal Yamashita Bakshish Dean and Gennaro Esposito all cooking their signature dishes at Abu Dhabi's various restaurants.  

The official website reads: "Gourmet Abu Dhabi returns for a magnificent fourth edition. Stimulate and satisfy your senses with Abu Dhabi's finest restaurants as they strive to impress."

On offer at the event will be all manner of different cuisines and dishes in the hope that it will showcase Abu Dhabi's rich culinary heritage.
